How can guests share their photos from an event?
Create a MySimpleGallery event and share its unique link. Guests open the gallery in their browser, choose photos from their device and upload them to the shared collection.
Do guests need an account or an app?
No. Guests can upload and view photos through their browser without creating a MySimpleGallery account or installing an app.
Can I use the same gallery for different occasions?
You can create galleries for many kinds of events, including parties, graduations and baby showers. Each gallery is associated with its own event, so separate celebrations are best organised in separate galleries.
Can guests upload photos after the event?
Yes, guests can add photos after the celebration while the gallery is active and uploads are enabled. Sharing a reminder the following day is a great way to collect photos people forgot to upload.
Can I review photos before they're visible?
Yes. You can turn on optional upload approval to review guest submissions before they're shown in the gallery.
Is an event gallery private?
Galleries use unique, unlisted links rather than being listed in a public gallery directory. People who have the link may be able to view the collection, so only share it with your intended guests. Galleries are not password protected.
How many photos can we collect, and what does it cost?
A free gallery allows up to 50 photo uploads. Gallery Pro increases the limit to 5,000 photos for a one-time £18 payment per gallery, with no monthly subscription.
Can I download all the photos?
Yes. You can download individual pictures or the gallery collection. Save your own copy before the gallery expires; online galleries are not intended as permanent photo storage.
Can guests upload videos?
Not at the moment. MySimpleGallery currently supports photo uploads rather than video uploads.
Can I collect RSVPs for my event too?
Yes, using the connected MySimpleRSVP product. The RSVP + Gallery bundle costs £27 as a one-time payment for both tools. They share an event connection, but each has its own guest-facing link.
